Stavros is most known as a fishing location. The name “Stavros” means cross named after the little church the build on the edge of the rocks. Its nick name “Tripiti” means whole, locals call it this way because of the big gave that exists in the area accessible only by sea. It has been said that military ships and submarines used to hide in the cave.
Now days it is the ideal place to go fishing and enjoy the rough landscape that includes vast cliffs and crystal blue water.
